Mailing of Certificate  

While POLYED cannot guarantee delivery of a certificate at a specific time, we will try to provide your certificate in time for a departmental presentation, if the nomination is submitted at least four weeks in advance of the required date. Nominations are accepted until June 30, but requests for special mailing can only be accepted until April 15.

Faculty Nominator Certification

The purpose of this award is to recognize performance in Organic Chemistry and make students aware of the field of Polymer Chemistry. We suggest the following criteria:

1) the student must be a chemistry or chemical engineering major whose future plans include a career in chemistry.

2) the awardee’s grade point average should be at least B+ (~3.4).

3) the student must have outstanding performance in a two semester Organic sequence.

I certify that my college/university will only give one of these awards in 2008 and that the student named above meets my college/university's criteria for the award.
