Every year, UWSP students volunteer their time and energy giving back to our campus and community. While they may be recognized in small ways, the Student Involvement and Employment Office recognizes the need to celebrate and thank our students for the collected impact they make. On May 1, SIEO is hosting the 10,000 Hours Celebration to recognize UWSP volunteers.
What is the 10,000 Hours Celebration?
The 10,000 Hours Celebration is a week-long celebration. There will be displays of pictures and information about the service projects completed by students throughout the year. The purpose of the event is two-fold - to thank students for their time and also to show the community the positive impact students make. There will be displays in the LRC, DUC, and Science buildings as well as on SIEO's web site.If you have any pictures of your service projects, please email them to schronis@uwsp.edu. We are creating displays and PowerPoint presentations for the 10,000 Hours Celebration.
